Jan. 9, 2026 - The Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department is sad to report the passing of Life Member Rick Wauchter. Visitation will be at the King Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13. Times will be announced.
Rick joined the North Hampton VFD in 1975 and served as a Lieutenant, Captain and Assistant Chief during his time with the Department.

Jan. 7, 2026 - HTVFD and mutual aid fire departments as well as Hampton Police and Shaler-Hampton EMS responded to a multi-vehicle accident at Rt. 8 and Duncan Ave. Thankfully no one from any of the four vehicles involved was injured. HTVFD helped clean-up the scene and assisted tow operators as they removed the 4 vehicles.
Jan. 5, 2026 - Annual Election meeting - results will be posted shortly.
Dec. 31, 2025 - HTVFD ended 2025 with 634 calls - a record number.
Dec. 13, 2025 - Firefighters were happy to help Santa and Mrs. Claus on their tour of Hampton today.

April, 2025 - Hampton Firefighters Lisa, Molly and Carrie hosted Girl Scout Troop 50478 at HTVFD Station 1.
Nov. 4, 2024 - HTVFD member Bob Gaertner, along with 9 other veterans, honored by the Hampton Township School District's Hometown Heroes hosted by the Hampton Middle School. Thank you for your service (x2!).
