48-75

48-75 is a 1996 Frieghtliner built to be used in Alaska. The prior Fire Dept. set this truck up to be run by one man in the extreme cold. Note the large reels on top of the truck. They can hold 1250' 5" line each and the pump is heated. This truck never saw fire.

The HTVFD set up this apparatus as a rescue truck. The majority of our calls are Motor Vehicle related, so we equipped with Hurst Tools, Air Bags and more from a Federal Grant. With it's 1200 gallons of water and it's foam capabilities 48-75 is also a tremendous asset at other fire ground ops.
